DIRECTIONS & MAP

The Arena Hostel is located accross the street from the T-Mobile Arena, a part of the "Vystaviste" - The Exhibition Grounds. There is not a person in Prague who would not know Vystaviste, should you ever need directions. Also when on a tram, look for the unique building of the Vystaviste's Main Hall and you can't miss your stop. When facing this building, Arena Hostel is the green corner building on the far end the block to your right, where the trams underpass the railroad.

Quick note on the Public Transport System:

• Prague has an amazingly cheap, on-time, safe and convenient public transport system - use it! Don't waste money on taxi, unless you are very very tired.

• Public Transportation (Czech abbreviation MHD) tickets are available in the closest newspaper stand, metro entrance booth or in a yellow automat near/in the stations

• Buy a 12 CZK one-way ticket ("jizdenka") or, better yet, a pass for the entire duration of your stay (1, 5 or 10 days) so you can travel as you wish without worry

• No tickets are sold in the vehicles, so make sure you buy it before you enter

• Once inside the vehicle (in the metro at the station entrance) mark it in the yellow machine (only once at the beginning)

• Don't be fooled if you don't see anyone else do it, most Praguers have monthly passes.

Getting to Arena Hostel

From the Airport:

The public transportation bus station is right in front of the Airport, take the 119 bus to Dejvicka. The visual point of orientation near Dejvicka is the Hotel Diplomat on your left, just before you get to the station. Get on the metro (line A, green) and go to "Museum" where you change to C line, red. (Plus see below)

From anywhere in town:

Take the red C line Metro to the end "Nadrazi Holesovice", where you go out using the staircase. In front, follow the tram tracks to the right about 150 meter, then turn left and follow the tram tracks another 120 meters, under the railroad bridge. Underpass the bridge and walk up the stairs to the green building on the corner - that's Arena Hostel.

Your orientation point - Vystaviste

By tram from downtown:

ARENA HOSTEL is no more than 4 or 5 tram stops from all major tourist spots (the Castle and Letna Park, Old Town Square area, Wenceslas Square, Mala Strana and Charles Bridge). There are 3 day trams (numbers 5, 14, 17) and one night tram (number 53) trams going to the "Vystaviste" tram stop.

Nearest train station:

ARENA HOSTEL is about 300 meters from Holesovice Train Station (Nadrazi Holesovice), which is one of Prague's major international stations. If coming into Prague by train, ask your ticket sales person or conductor whether you can get off there. Directions same as above from the Metro.
