Czech Republic accommodation at its best, means ARENA HOSTEL

• Do you accept credit cards?
  Hostel in Prague at ARENA HOSTEL accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diner’s Club.

• What about quiet? Are there rules?
  Quiet hours are enforced after 10pm in the sleeping rooms. That means no radios, cell phones, singing or musical instruments in the dorms. Late arrivals are asked to respect their dorm mates in regard to lights and unnecessary talk.

• How many per room?
  That depends on your reservation and how full we are, but ARENA HOSTEL never puts extra beds in rooms designed for less. Our accommodations include single, twin, double, triple, quadruple and dorm rooms. Some are en suite, some have common toilets and showers.

• Is Arena Hostel air conditioned?
  No, but it's not needed. ARENA HOSTEL is located in a remodeled 18th century building. Built by the traditional techniques with thick brick walls, it stays cool even on the hottest days. You will see (and feel) this as soon as you walk in, the walls in our reception area are nearly 1 meter (3 feet) thick. We do have air conditioning in the downstairs pub area, of course.

• Are you close to the center?
  We are within fifteen minutes of nearly all points of interest in Prague, five minutes from the zoo, three from Stromovka Park and directly across from the Exhibition Grounds where many cultural events occur. ARENA HOSTEL is served by three trams during the day and one night-tram. The Nadrazi Holesovice metro and train stop is very close as well, but many of our guests simply walk downtown, which is about 15 minutes. Arena's immediate neighborhood is one of Prague's hip residential quarters along the river.

• What if we arrive late?
  No problem. ARENA HOSTEL’S reception desk is attended 24 hrs a day.

• Is there a lock-out time?
  No. There is always someone on duty, although the entry is locked throughout the day and night for your protection.

• What if I have a complaint?
  Discuss your problem with the reception desk. ARENA HOSTEL will make every effort to resolve your difficulty in the best interests of yourself as well as our other guests. We welcome all feedback and if you wish, you can write directly to our manager, either from this site or in the "FEEDBACK" box in the reception area.

• Is breakfast available on site?
  Yes, we serve both continental breakfast, including juice, coffee or tea and a full “American breakfast,” including pancakes, eggs, bacon, hashed-brown potatoes and the beverage of your choice. Breakfast is optional and not included in the room price.

• Do you have Internet access?
  Yes. Internet access for e-mail or browsing is available to our guests 24 hours a day, free of charge.

• Do you have a laundry?
  No, but we provide overnight laundry service. We pick up your laundry and deliver it next day. Alternatively, we will help you locate a coin operated laundry service.

• Will my stuff be safe?
  ARENA HOSTEL operates a locked storage room, accessible 24 hrs a day. We encourage you to use this facility, as personal items are never safe when they are out of your sight or you are asleep. Most of our guests put their backpack in storage and take a day-pack into Prague, locking that up as well before retiring. You can also use the safe in our reception area. We want your stay to be relaxing, stress free and safe.

• How safe is Prague?
  Prague has almost no personal crime, yet the rate of property crime is quite high. Unlike other major cities, you’ll find people strolling the parks late at night without problem. Having said this, see our safety tips regarding your cell phone, wallet, purse or other personal effects.
