PRAGUE GUIDE - A SMALL SAMPLE OF VISTAS

Prague travel, a few tips on enjoying the Golden City. Prague is best seen at street level, strolling the number one attraction, the Charles Bridge, perhaps winding your way down from the Castle by any of three wonderful routes. We'll be happy to set you right, with a map and some thoughts about how this world famous city is enjoyed.

Few visitors ever walk the crooked little side streets that are the charm of the city and best not be missed. Sleep late or drop back to ARENA HOSTEL for an afternoon nap, so that Prague can be yours at dusk when the crowds are mostly footsore and the city reveals itself, quiet and mysterious. See the obvious, the not-to-be-missed, but be sure to see the offbeat corners of the city.

All kinds of suggestions await your inquiry at the desk. When you’re ‘citied out,’ the funicular up to the top of Petrin provides a spectacular view of the city and river, offering several leisurely ways to amble down. Be sure to stop often for the finest beer the world has ever produced and relax—it’ll all still be there tomorrow. Maybe take a lunch cruise on the river, lie on the grass in Kampa Park and listen to someone nearby play a guitar—there’s sure to be a frisbie game going on—it’s the place young Czechs and young tourists go to relax.

When the day is over, join us back at ARENA HOSTEL for a good dinner, a little Internet access and a chance to relax. In the downstairs pub, ARENA HOSTEL offers live bands on Friday and Saturday nights.

What better possible way to enjoy Europe's most elegant city?
